For the month of March many of our website updates were focused on beefing up the security of websites. We used this opportunity to also make aesthetic upgrades to our website properties. SeizerStyle Designs websites and social network pages now use variations of a more colorful and appealing header image. We have also added a "designed by SeizerStyle Designes" link back to our homepage on all our client websites so that the webmaster of these websites can be easily identified and contacted.

Over the past couple of days we were forced to perform some security updates on our websites and client websites to rectify a security vulnerability which seems to have been related to WordPress installs. This affected our blog and a few client websites which were unavailable as the problem was being rectified. As part of the security updates we made changes to all our websites which may have rendered them unavailable or partially available for some period of time. These updates were necessary to ensure that none of our websites were compromised and that unauthorized persons do not have access to them.

Our blog has been rebuilt from backups and is still not yet in its original form. However, no posts or comments were lost. We intend to use this opportunity to explore a better blog interface than we previously offered.

Please not that none of our client websites were defaced and there is no evidence of unauthorized access to them. As a precautionary measure we made changes to ensure that this is the case and to be safe rather than sorry. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the downtime.

With the increasing popularity of browsing on mobile devices and the constant demand for fast loading webpages, we have optimized our website to load quicker and eliminated some unnecessary code. We will continue working with client websites to ensure that they are optimized for viewing by visitors and search engines.

Dominica Sports Division

• Added Community page which links to information about the various sports committes formed in districts in Dominica.
• Removed search bar from main navigation bar and repositioned to the right of page titles.
• Added Photo of the Month gallery to photo gallery section.
• Added more championship rules.

SeizerStyle Designs

• Optimized pages to improve load times (removed unnecessary graphics and styles).
• Removed SeizerStyle Designs Network buttons from footer and replaced with textual links.
• Improved privacy policy to better reflect how visitor data is treated.

We ushered in 2012 with updates to our own website as well as a total overhaul of the Dominica Sports Division website. We will now post on our website updates monthly, highlighting any notable changes made to our website or our clients' websites.

Dominica Sports Division

• Google custom search added to search content on the website with a result page that suits the website design.
• About Us page added containing information on the mission, vision  and organization structure of the Dominica Sports Division.
• News articles can now be filtered  by year.
• Results page redesigned. Results are now separated into Schools Sports and Communty Sports. Schools Sports are further subdivided into Primary School and Secondary School sports.  results can also now be filtered sport in addition to year.
• Rules page added to include most current rules for championship events.
• Awards page added to highlight National Awards and School Awards.
• Improved photo gallery. The photo gallery now uses HTML instead of Flash allowing visitors to copy their pictures. Pictures are now categorized into Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Regional Sports and Other Activities.
• Permanent Windward Islands Schools' Games page added with results of the various competitions.

SeizerStyle Designs

• Moved news feeds to Feedburner.
• Reduced number of links in main navigation. Removed News link which can now be accessed from the homepage and footer of every page.
• Added Partnerships page to introduce intent of collaboration with trusted partners on new projects.

We have made changes to our privacy policy to better reflect how we treat your information on our websites. We have included more information on what type of information we store about visitors to our websites and the acceptable ways of using and sharing your information with our trusted partners. SeizerStyle Designs respects the privacy of visitors to our websites and seeks to be transparent about its use of data collected about them.

Less Is More

We have streamlined many of our pages to provide more meningful content. Our portfolio of websites and graphics have been merged with general information about the respective products. We hope to reduce the complexity of navigating this website and present all relevant information in as few clicks as possible.

Accessibility and Usability Improvements

Many of our sites have been redesigned or modified to make them easier to navigate. To improve the accessibility and usability of our sites we have eliminated unnecessary information and streamlined our navigation systems. We continue to consider the various needs and preferences of our visitors as we continually improve our website products.
